My father in law was in the woodworking business and no longer is at this time. He has many tools left over including this Z Laser. It was only used ONCE!
It's original value would have been about $15,000 and they sell for about $20,000 now.
It was installed and tested for 2 weeks back in the 1997, but never used because the need changed for which it was purchased.
They are also supported by a company in the USA called Carter Products, who can provide installation and training, if needed.
It can be used in production situations with great benefit for layout of parts requiring exact positioning or for machining processes showing where to place the parts on the machine and a host of other type of uses. It projects an exact outline of the part and its features, like openings, slots, grain direction, etc. etc, or even text projected on the surface to explain to the operator what needs to be done.
