Lot of five (5) 400 micron polyester mesh filter bags
For sale is a lot of 5 new polyester multi-filament mesh filter bags. These are rated at 400 microns (nominal). They have steel rings sewn into the top of the bags. These bags are excellent for coarse initial filtration. Bags are slightly shorter than industry standard size 1 bags, being 7" in diameter but only 12" long and can be used free hanging from a pipe using a filter head adapter or attached with a fastener or clamp directly to the pipe. Please note that these bags DO NOT have a strap sewn across the mouth of the bags to facilitate hanging from a pipe. Polyester is fairly good with a maximum heat of 180-200 degrees F but is generally not as chemical resistant as polypropylene. These are excellent bags for filtering water or waste vegetable oil (WVO) to make biodiesel.
