If you need to do some major digging this is the machine for you. I purchased this machine last year from an equipment consignment company who was selling it for an Indian tribe in Texas. I purchased the machine to dig out a pond and the project is now complete so am selling the excavator. This machine has two detroit diesel engins. A 671 in the front truck and a 471 in the rear digging machine. This excavator was originally designed to travel down roads and dig out the side drainage ditches. As you can see from the photos the bucket will turn to a 45 degree angle for ditching. and will reach out approximately 30 feet.
Due to the age of the machine it is no longer street legal i.e. many of the lights are broken, tires are old etc. Also some of the truck gagues are broken and I don't think you can drive the truck from the rear anymore although I have never really tried it. This machine is best used on your land. The engins run perfectly and the hydraulics are strong. The main boom seals started leaking so I had them replaced last year.
Included with the purchase are the operators manual and the parts manual for this machine.
