New etalon 0 to 1" dial indicating .00005" micrometer

Etalon 0 to 1" Dial Indicating .00005" Micrometer New
Indicating micrometers are high precision tools used for inspection of parts.
This should be mounted on a stand (not included) so that both hands are free to insert, inspect, and remove the machined parts.
The indicating micrometer features a movable anvil which is retracted by pushing the button on the far left.
The spindle on the right is operated like any micrometer.
Use the spindle to set the required dimension, and lock it in place.
Parts comparisons are made using the dial (.00005").
The hand (needle) will show deviations.
There are graduations to .001" in either direction.
Replaceable red and blue tolerance markers are adjustable and the dial can be rotated for fine adjustments.
A built-in adjustable part support keeps small parts at the right height, or it can be removed if it's in the way.
The spindle is designed to turn hard compared to regular micrometers.
This is because the spindle is normally preset and locked into place.
Comes in a foam lined hard plastic case with instructions and calibration wrench
This is new in an open package
When initially inspected, the movable anvil was a little sticky.
We simply operated it several times over the course of the day and it freed right up.
I let this sit all weekend and tried it again and it works fine.
When zeroed, it would repeat to within about .000007" every time.
The accuracy is guaranteed to 0.0001".
This has never been used in a work environment, only tested by us.
