I am selling these chairs for the owner of the Rose Bowl Event Center on Historical Route 66 in Tulsa Oklahoma . They were purchased in 2008 from the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. The PAC occupies half a city block and was designed by Minoru Yamasaki who is also noteworthy for the design of the World Trade Center Towers in NYC. The PAC houses four theatres. I have pictured the seats as they were in the center as well as a pic of the outside of the PAC, so you can be assured these seats are of high quality. The seats have been stored since their purchase. The owner was originally going to put these in the Rose Bowl Event Center but had a change of heart and went a different route for seating and opted for a larger open floor plan with portable seating.There are appx. 3000 red seats and 450 blue seats. The blue seats came from the room (pictured), the red ones are from the main auditorium (pictured). The majority of the seats are the same size, the smaller size seats were from the upper balconies. All seats and hardware are in good to very good condition. They will be sold on a first come first served basis, since the seats are used some may have more wear/stains/scratches than others . The L brackets measure appx 17" (angle to top ) x 11 1/2 inches (angle to base).
The floor mount brackets measure appx 22 1/2 inches from top to bottom.
The mounting plates measure appx 5 x 5 inches.
All chairs have a thick plastic backing with a cloth padded material on the face and a 3 1/2 thick padded material seat with a metal/aluminum bottom which is black. All seat bottoms are spring loaded and fold up when not in use.
The bottom cushion measures appx 18 1/4 inches x 17 inches. The seat measured from the bottom of the L bracket base to the top of the back measures appx 31 3/4 inches. Measurements from inside the arm rests measures appx 18 3/4 inches wide. The measurements for the back are appx 26 inches long x 20 inches wide. All chairs are numbered however your purchase will not necessarily include sequentially numbered chairs. The numbers are easily removed .
The price of $35.00 is per chair and includes 2 (L) brackets, unless you select the orchestra style seats with the (2)straight brackets.
