What we have here are some Newport M-460PD-X modular dovetail linear stages. It has 1/2 inch of travel, and a built in 80 tpi adjustment screw. you combine two of these stages for an X-Y stage assembly. Also has a locking screw to lock in place. This stage is also compatible with Newport's 460P stage assemblies, so you can combine them any way you wish.
Description: The 460PD Series Modular Dovetail Linear Stages are preferred for applications requiring precision adjustment and high stability. They are much less susceptible to shock and vibration than bearing stages. Our 460PD Series Dovetail Stages incorporate an 80 TPI drive screw for precision positioning, 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) of travel, an integral locking mechanism, and our patented peg joining system for flexible modularity.
Our innovative peg joining system makes connecting these stages together very simple. Secure assembly is accomplished by screwing the pegs into threaded holes, placing a stage on the protruding pegs, and tightening two setscrews on the side of the stage. Stage stacks can easily be disassembled and reassembled into many configurations. The pegs can also be positioned at various locations on the stage for stable offset assemblies.
