OPC- Series Optical Re-imaging Unit For High-Power Near-Infra-Red Laser Systems

The OPC Laser units were designed for direct thermal applications in graphic arts, material processing, soldering, medical imaging, display production, plastics cutting, etc.
The Opto Power ORU Series (Optical Re-imaging Units) reduce or enlarge diode laser spot size. At the same time they protect the fiber bundle tip from the environment.
The model OPC-ORU-02M provides 1:2 optical re-imaging, i.e. laser spot size magnification. The light output is at right angle with respect to the axis of the input fiber bundle. SMA905 connector.

This unit is part of the surplus from our lab. We have purchased all our IR laser equipment from a flat-panel R&D organization - practically new (after they suddenly went bankrupt) - with the idea to use it for the development of flat-panel photosensors, but we invented a new, powerful vacuum sealing method that doesn't require IR lasers. We ended up never using this laser equipment!
