250 ea 4-40 x 7/16" "screw nuts" standoffs stainless

Female - Male Stainless Hex Standoffs AKA "Screw Nuts":
Thread: 4-40 UNF - threaded .180" deep into Head of each fastener
Thread Length: 7/16" nominal (.435" actual)
Width Across Flats: 3/16" nominal
Have you ever needed a "nut" mounted on something? These rare and hard-to-find fasteners are the answer. Simply drill a .110" hole and mount with a 4-40 nut. Can be used to mount an external nut through plastics, wood, rubber, or other materials where threading directly into it would not yield a strong enough thread. Can be used on thin sheet metal where the material is too thing to drill/tap a reliable threaded hole.
There is a shoulder underneath hex bulkhead that is approximately .150" in diameter/ .060" Long.
These may also be used as a standoff in circuit board applications or used in tandem to fabricate longer fasteners (see photo close up).
