This is for a LIGHTLY USED, quality made SAFARILAND brand, police level III uniformed duty holster.
Level III retention means there are three distinct protections for your gun. And gun retention is at its maximum here. When holstered and locked in, you must first release a rear finger tab, which keeps your gun pressed forward in the holster and locked into the molding.
An inside thumb break and snap must also be released. This allows the gun to be drawn with a slight rear rocking motion and then upward. The snap and strap on the very front are dummys to fool the unthinking and unwise bad guy.
This, with a little practice is done with single downward motion of your hand, simultaneously releasing both snaps together and putting your hand in a natural gripping position. This added security, does not mean this is a slow draw holster by any means.
Another very nice feature is you can one handed reholster, if you have to handcuff, or go hands on with a suspect, your gun will "lock" into the holster, remaining relatively secure, should a fight or foot pursuit begin.
Two screws firmly anchor the holster to the belt. The holster is open muzzle.
The holster features lightweight and super easy cleaning.
