This is a used in line transfer machine with live tooling made by LINEMATIC AG. The machine is set up to make the tips for ball point pens. The machine inserts the blanks, does all the machining, inserts the ball, burnishes over the ball and drops out a completed tip. The machine is in very nice condition and we believe that it would go back into production with very little needed work. The machine is considered a super precision machine and similar models are used for making fuel injector parts. The machine could be retooled for making small precision parts up to about 1/4 inch diameter. New price on this machine was over $500,000.00 without extra tooling and included with this machine is what we believe is a complete extra set of live tooling.
