Laser diode pulser, pulse power supply/controller?

For sale- a Laser Diode Pulser, as you can see for yourself in the pictures it says that much right across the front. Unfortunately it doesn t say much else. Specifically there is no manufacturer name or logo that I see, so matching it up to any similar product on the market is going to be tough.
This piece is NASA surplus, and given the lack of markings I am guessing they constructed it themselves. So it may well require modification to work in any other application other than what they designed it for. I even opened it up to see if there were recognizable components. There are, a bank of 12 Sprague Powerlytic 8200uf 350VDC capacitors. Which tells me next to nothing.
I thought I had a good picture taken in natural sunlight, but now I see that the area under the meters is shaded. Top row left, the meter is labeled O/O Duty Factor. To the right of that the meter is labeled Peak Current (Amperes). On the other side of the Current Pulse Width Failure indicator the meter is labeled VCE Monitor. And to the right of that is HVPS DC Volts. If you need help reading any of the other controls labeling just shoot me an email.
The copper bus bars extend through the side of the unit, providing a direct connection to all that capacitance. As you can see a small cover protects it from accidental discharge. On the side opposite that a fan is mounted outside the chassis, with a separate 110VAC cord attached.
On the back the unit itself has a 4-prong twist-lock connection for 208 volt 3 phase power, both an input and an output TO HVPS . And a multipin connector labeled DC Power. So I think it is safe to say that the unit relied on an outboard high voltage power supply AND a DC power supply as well. The 3 phase power stymies any potential testing, but I m not sure that would tell you much. So you tell me- does this thing have a life outside of NASA?
Untested, sold without warranty. The surplus condition code is visible on the back of the unit, lower right corner. CC4 indicates it should be functional but I have no way to verify that.
