GenRad 1432-P 5-Decade Resistor Substitution Box
5 full decades from 10 Ohms per step thru 100K Ohms per step. My personal experience is that this box covers the range of values I'm interested in about 99.9% of the time. I really rarely need anything lower or higher with any degree of accuracy, so this box just does it all. The switches were set to all 5 and the result is pictured. It really doesn't get much more convincing than that, eh? Gold plated bananas, standard spacing, electrically sound, cosmetically pretty nice after all these years, and of course, it's a GR. You need this one, don't you think?
