This variety pack of unused chisels and saw blades is designed to utilize the best features of the Cutawl saw, while maintaining the guarantee of your Cutawl. These blades are made of an extremely strong high carbon steel, and moving up and down 50 times a second, will move easily through your material. Your cut edge will be nicely finished, and should not require additional working to smooth it. This variety pack includes the most used Cutawl blades. This variety pack will give you a chance to try various types of Cutawl blades without having to purchase a full 10 pack of each. A chart of the various Cutawl blades and a brief reference guide will be included with your blades.
Included in this lot are two #11, two #22D, two #24 and two #25 blades, as well as two additional saw tooth blades of my choosing for a total purchase value of over $25.00. Watch for an extra gift blade included with each order also!
The purchase cost of these blades is as follows: #11 - $4.37 each; #22D - $5.41 each; #24 - $2.19 each; #25 - $1.90 each; and all jig saw tooth blades (#13, #32, #33, #34, #42, #43 and #44) cost only 71 cents each. This mixed lot is offered for $15.00, a discount of over 40% off of factory prices.
NOTE: The top of the blade must NOT rise above the top of the Cutawl chisel block. See the instructions provided with your Cutawl for stroke and clearance adjustments. You will see case hardening colors and oxidation staining on some of these blades. Such markings are not defects in the blades. Because of their high carbon content and specialized heat treatments, these blades are always susceptible to oxidation if not kept well oiled and in a dry location. In an effort to prevent oxidation, some Cutawl blades have been blued with gun finish and some have been made with a stainless steel in an effort to minimize oxidation, all with minimal success. Seconds after cutting into any material, the staining and any surface treatments on these blades will wear away and you will have a nice shiny new blade!
